Burghfield and Sulhamstead Scout Group’s policy regarding the safety of young people on this web site

The 1st Burghfield and Sulhamstead Scout Group will comply with the guidance given by the Scouting Association. The full text can be viewed here.

Identification

We are careful not to give details that might identify young people, in addition:-

• We will NOT give out emails or other contact information

• We will NOT use full names without seeking parental/carer's consent.

• Wherever possible we will avoid using names altogether.

Photographs

It is not a legal requirement to ask permission for the use of photographs, but if parents request for their children's photographs not to be used we will comply with their wishes. Please bear in mind, that when group photographs are taken a young person may become upset if not included.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that photographs comply with our policy, should a member object to any photograph, it will be removed immediately.
