1st Burghfield & Sulhamstead Beavers

Welcome to the Beaver section.

We have three Beaver colonies - Pathfinder, Pioneer and Voyager. The colonies are open to boys and girls aged 6 to 8.

The uniform consists of a beaver sweatshirt and neckerchief. For formal occasions they will need smart (school) trousers but otherwise jeans will do.

News

In June we went on our group scout camp and camped overnight. Beavers had the opportunity to take part in wide games, a camp fire, go karting and an obstacle course. In addition to being a lot of fun this gave many of the beavers a first opportunity to go away by themselves and gain a little independence and responsibility within a safe environment.
