Pathfinder Beaver Colony

Welcome to Pathfinder Beavers, run by Kira, Lorna, Sarah and Explorer Emma.

We are the Tuesday Beavers and meet from 5:30 to 6:30 during term-times. Usually you will find us at the Scout Hut, but often during the lighter months we are out and about with hikes or field trips, sometimes nearby and other times further afield. 

We appreciate the help and support given by parents to enable us to do all the activities that we plan.

Meetings

We have lots of fun, playing games, making things, tasting food, meeting new people, getting messy and learning new things!

Badges

We aim to work on all the Challenge and Activity badges that a Beaver can earn during their two years with us, with the hope that they will all achieve their Bronze badge by the time they head off to Cubs. 

Out and About

During the Summer term and early Autumn term, we make the most of the good weather and the light evenings to go off and explore near where we live. This might be for a Hike at The Vyne, or a visit to the Fire Station, building shelters at Padworth or a visit to the Englefield Market Garden. 

And Also

We have recently been to the Burghfield and Sulhamstead Group Camp for our Beaver Sleepover where everyone enjoyed themselves on a very hot and sunny weekend. We also attend the Remembrance Day Parade in November and St Georges Day Parade in April along with the rest of the Scout Group.
