Pioneer Beaver Colony

Pioneer Beavers is all about having fun and making new friends. We encourage teamwork, leadership and trying your best. We have half girls and half boys and welcome children from aged 6-8 years old.

Pioneer Beavers is run by Blossom, Lily and Rose. We have one Young Leader called Michaela and are supported by Rob from the air cadets. We rely on the good nature and kindness of our parents to support us at Beavers, helping out on a parent rota. Without their support, we could not do as many of the fun things that makes Pioneer Beavers so special.

We like to do a variety of different things during each term:

Sleepover

General Meetings

We play games and complete fun activities based on the Scout programme. We do lots of different things, like crafts, getting messy, food (cooking and tasting), learning new things etc

Out and About

Going on visits to the local church, fire station, supermarket, termly family walk to name but a few!

Badges

We do lots of badges, and try different activities depending on the season and the intersts of the children.

Outside of Meetings

We have been on Group camp and slept over the night, been to various church services and fun days.
