Welcome to TAO Explorer Scout Unit

So what does TAO mean? It’s the name our Explorers gave to our Unit when it opened in May and represents our sense of fun and adventure and means we will ‘Try Anything Once’. Already we have tried

• Making Pizzas and the ovens to cook them in

• Scuba Diving

• Katakanuing

• Orienteering

• Bike Hike

• Karting

• Pioneering (over a bog)

• Surviving a weekend camp on only ONE hours sleep!

We are open to all young people between the age of 14 – 18 years and our unit is rapidly growing. We meet every week during term time, use the ‘contacts’ details below to find out more information.

Alps 2011

This month saw the launch of our first overseas expedition where we are aiming to take a group of Explorers for a back packing expedition to the Alps in 2011. Follow this link for more details.
