Patrol Leaders day on the Canal

on the “Falcon Adam”

On Sunday 10th May at 8.45 am we all met in Northcroft Leisure centre car park where Skip & Rikki were waiting to walk us over to the canal were the canal boat “Falcon Adam” was waiting.

We all had a safety talk and were told that we were to work as a team driving the boat and doing the bridges and locks on the journey back to Aldermaston.

As we set off we could smell the bacon cooking below in the kitchen, we all had bacon rolls as we made our way out of Newbury.

The weather was lovely, and we all enjoyed working together doing the locks and driving we had a few crashes into the bank!

We stopped at Thatcham for lunch.

After lunch we leisurely made our way to Aldermaston were our parents picked us up.
